Project idea

To establish an online learning platform geared towards the digitization and expansion of Chinese and Spanish language education in schools boasting an enrollment of over 50,000 students.

The challenges

  • Scalability of language learning scalability: Given the global reach of the school, there was a pressing need for automated content delivery templates to facilitate the swift creation of learning modules.
  • Content Migration: The client possessed an extensive 11-year backlog of educational material that required seamless migration to the new platform.
  • Students’ engagement: With a primary focus on providing language instruction to younger learners, it was crucial to ensure that the learning experience on the platform was not only effective but also enjoyable and engaging.
  • Comprehensive Reporting: The client sought robust tools to assess teacher and student engagement, learner performance, and effectively meet the demands of the participating schools.

The solutions

  • A sophisticated architecture for the platform was developed, featuring multiple levels and roles. This included a super admin with access to all affiliated schools, a network of schools utilizing the platform, and diverse user roles within the platform.
  • A comprehensive content library, housing ready-to-use lessons, activities, and lesson plans, was implemented. Teachers can rapidly construct tailored learning programs that align with the specific requirements of their classes by leveraging the available modules or crafting customized lessons.
  • Interactive language games were seamlessly integrated into the platform to make the learning experience more enjoyable and captivating.
  • Our team facilitated the smooth transfer of the extensive content archive to the new platform.
  • We introduced various gamification elements, such as challenges and achievements, to enhance student engagement and motivation.
  • The platform offers a wide array of reporting options, allowing users to access comprehensive statistics regarding platform usage, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
